Born in Korea, raised in the U.S. and in based in Austria since 2012, she has 15 years’ working experience in the intersection between tech and creativity. 10 years at Samsung Group as Managing Director of Cheil Austria & Switzerland, the in-house creative agency of Samsung. Currently serving at Austrian independent creative agency, Kaitlyn has won more than 50 international and Austrian innovation and creative awards including Cannes Lions Titanium and Innovation Lions shortlists, Clios, D&AD and Webby’s.

In her “parallel life” she is Vice President for the nonprofit organization Women of Vienna, the biggest community for women in Austria (17,000 members). She also acts as a jury member and keynote speaker in various international creativity events, and mentors and advises startups in both Vienna and Seoul, with focus on the intersection between technology, creativity and diversity.

Earlier she worked for Symantec (2014) and Hewlett-Packard (2010). For few years she was the lecturer of marketing communication on post-graduate studies in Tshner European University (2009).

Mark Dekan, as the CEO of Ringier Axel Springer Media AG, is responsible for the joint venture of Axel Springer and Ringier on the media market in Central and Eastern Europe. In Poland, he is also the CEO of Ringier Axel Springer Polska, managing a portfolio of over twenty major media brands in the country.

Prior to taking up the position of CEO of Ringier Axel Springer Media AG in 2013, as a CFO, he was responsible for managing the finances of the group. Previously, until 2008, he held the position of finance director at Axel Springer SE.

He worked in the advertising office of RMF FM and Ringier Axel Springer Polska. Since 2014, he is responsible for the commercialization of advertising space belonging to Ringier Axel Springer Polska.

He is a member of the supervisory board of IAB Polska, an organization responsible for the promotion and development of the online market in Poland. Member of the European Advertising Committee in the International News Media Association (INMA).
